MaraDNS stops resolving

I have the same problem already for a year or so.

Mara is up, but stops resolving with that errormessage:

I have that problem on different debian builds (etch/ sarge) with  
different mara-versions, 1.2.12.04-1 and 1.2.12.05.

it is quite easy to solve with the call of "/etc/init.d/maradns  
restart" via cron once a day, but on the other hand it is a bit  
dissatisfactory ...



maybe Sam has a good idea?
