Yesterday, I updated MaraDNS 1, posted to the mailing list the update,
updated the Sourceforge version of MaraDNS, and posted a blog about
the issue.

Today, I have updated the relevant MaraDNS web pages:

Again, Deadwood (MaraDNS 2) has never had this problem; it only
impacts users of MaraDNS 1's recursive resolver.
